2012 UBC Okanagan Facilities Study
The purpose of the 2012 UBC Okanagan Facilities Study report was to investigate and assess the use of facilities space on the UBC Okanagan campus, and to evaluate the existing inventory of space following the recent build-out of the campus. The Facilities Planning team investigated the use of space at UBC Okanagan by analyzing and confirming the inventory; as well as conducting interviews and consultations with Faculties, student groups, and administrative groups. As with other universities in the province, UBC follows the British Columbia University Space Standards (BCUSS) for all categories of space allocation to assess departments’ entitlement and space allocation. UBC is obligated to report regularly to the province on its space inventory. A draft report presented in February 2012.
